The Role of Helicobacter Pylori Infection in Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura in Children

Background: Many studies had found obvious relation between helicobacter pylori infection and chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura; several have reported remission of immune purpura (ITP) after eradication a coexistent Helicobacter in adults, data children are limited. Objective: To detect the association H. effect on platelet count these patients. Patients methods: This study was conducted 83 with age range from 3 to 13 years. They were 46 males 37 females. Also included 104 healthy individual same age. 58 females as control group. October 2018 September 2019 Pediatric Hematology GIT Clinics or inpatients wards Department. Results: Clinical benefit occurred 31 cases ITP (cITP) patients screened; nevertheless, we simple, inexpensive, non‐invasive screening method; adverse events therapy negligible, together an affordable cost, all uncommon attributes among specific treatments currently available for cITP; therefore it is worthwhile test treat infection.
